an epiphany.
The truth in the end

As I have grown through years of youth,
I think I’ve found the answer.
That in the life I live and love,
We do it with no question.
We do not think before we speak,
But only question why?
We only question how?
But as time passed I realized,
There is no answer,
There is no truth.
As the clock ticks down,
The sun begins to set.
And when night falls,
There is no color.
There is…

And all that is left is the idea left behind.

So this time I will change.
This time is all I have so why waste it.
Why waste my day with this herb,
With this drink I drink all day,
Why sit here sad when this is, after all,
All I will have on my deathbed.
If it isn’t all I could make it,
I believe when I die I will regret.
I will want to change it all if I sit here.
Wasting away.
