I love how the imagery reflects how there's hope in every passing day. How the darkness of the evening represents the darkness we carry within. How the dawning of the new day, the rising of the sun, lifts the veil that clouds our hearts. This is a really good poem and I wish you the best in all of your future writings.

I really liked how the lyrics flow together. It appears the singer is talking to a loved one who has achieved extreme success as a performer and he looks forward to seeing her again the next time she is in town. Did you have Randy Travis in mind when you wrote this? He could sing it. Blessings.

Wow. You have really expressed what all mothers (especially, single mothers) go through when trying to parent, work a paying job, and work on a project or career choice that the parent is passionate about. I never would have thought to keep a list for everything. I'll have to try that. Blessings and good luck from this single mom/actress/writer/craftsperson/paying job cashier.

I loved it. This reminds so much of times I wish I could have spent for my kids. As an aspiring actress, I hope you would allow this for future actresses to use at their auditions. I really hope you find other inspirations to allow you to write like this. I'm impressed. Blessings.

This was a really nice piece of writing. Lots of descriptive details, loads of British slang. Some areas seem a little run-on but it still works. If you ever get to write a Part Two to this story I would enjoy reading it. I hope this works out for you. Blessings.

This reminds me of 60's bubblegum cutesy love songs. The image I actually get is something from the Monkees. I find this really ironic considering bubblegum rock didn't mention hell directly. Interesting lyrics. Would like to listen to when in the mood. Good effort.

Very fresh. Interesting imagery to describe the pain of being used. I can see this more as a heavy metal, punk, or alternative song with lots of bass and percussion. Good luck with your future endeavors. You are good.
