I first want to say...I believe you absolutely. There are some scary people, places, and things, with frightening stories or true happenings attached. Been there done that...didn't like it much; and I can tell you with all certainty that I never, ever want to go that road again. I so enjoyed this story. It was fun to read. Absolutely LOVE suck monster! Grandpa was a funny character too. Eve sounded wistful sweet and lovely. And "kid", otherwise known as our hero was perfect. I laughed out loud at the line: He says that's a huge "son of a fish"!!!
