I love the premise of this poem - there are so many times when I feel trapped by life. If I may, I have a few suggestions - do what you will with them.

Line three - perhaps 'Feeling like a lion trapped from freedom by caged doors'
Line four - maybe 'I roam the quarters of my confined space'

Great work - keep writing!

I really like this poem, especially the rhyming couplets style. It is simple yet powerful, and speaks to people who love a good rain.
