The descriptions are so vivid that I could practically taste the chocolates on my tongue. It was really well written. My favorite part, though, is most definitely, the end. Great job. My first reaction when I finished reading this piece was to applaud you. There were a few minor grammatical errors as in "By promoting hatred and bigotry in the name of God is what is destroying our society, not the marriage of two loving people of the same gender." You should either remove "by" or change it to something along the lines of "By promoting hatred and bigotry in the name of God, we are destroying our society, not the marriage of two loving people of the same gender."
Besides that minor error, this is an excellent piece with a very good message. I agree with you a hundred percent, and you present your argument very effectively and logically. Keep it up, Write On!!

This is so sweet, it makes me cry. I love the story of it, the love being worth more than diamonds or pearls. This is what true love should be, more than what society expects but what makes the people so very happy that it gives tears of joy. I love the end, that her Royal Majesty goes to the maid's room, her bed to show that she loves her back. It is just so very sweet; I love it. Keep it up, Write On!!
That's cute; had me laughing the whole way through. Maybe one day we really will have gender translators; until then, I guess we'll all just have to guess. Very funny. This poem made me cry, it was so emotional and powerful. The imagery is excellent, making the reader feel like they are in a dark wood running from the wolves, a very apt description for how society seems at times. There is a lot of emotion, of fear and conviction and inner truth, that makes this piece a really good read. My favorite bit is how at the end you are free of the wolves and can make your own way, in a manner of speaking. Very powerful piece. Keep it up, Write On!!
This piece has a nice rhythm to it, a sad, almost maddening quality to it. The speaker, Lucifer, seems almost to be at the end of his wits, of his sanity. The way Lucifer repeats himself seems to speak of his inner conflict, his turmoil over loving Michael, who seems not to see or care for Lucifer. I love the last two lines, the almost pleading quality of them. Good job. Keep it up, Write On!!
This is another really good piece, but feels a little choppy. It is more erratic in the thought process, making me think it is like the speaker has fallen apart, is no longer completly in touch with reality. It shows a conflict, of sorts, where the speaker wishes to be himself, but the same time seems almost afraid of what that entails. The images are really powerful; it makes me think of a shattered mirror reflecting many images at once from the many different pieces. Good job. Keep it up, Write On!!
This is a really good, really powerful poem. I like the images it invokes, the feeling of it being a smashing out of a box. This shows a great deal of power, of conviction in a way, because the speaker is tired of living a lie and is ready to break free, break the mirror that simply reflects what society wants from him. I like it; it's so very very sweet. It shows a deep love and caring for the other person. It is very delicate, almost...like a lullaby, if that makes any sense. I like the last stanza, wanting the person near you always. I think that is one of the sweetest things, wanting a person near you always because you love them so deeply. Very nice piece.
