This is extremely cleaver, the form is excellent, and you manage the rhyme very well.

This is a nice poem with a lot of meaning. The only problem for me was the ryhme. Rhyme is not really in fashion now a days, and hasn't been for a while. Yet heroic couplets are still enjoyable if done extremely well. This was done fairly well, but the rhyme is distracting by the second stanza. Your message could have been much more powerful without the rhyme, and I feel there is a much deeper poem here without focusing on the rhyme. Try looking at some contemporary poetry for an example of poems without rhyme. This work itself is good. The first and last line of the last stanza are fairly similar, but the clarity of the poem is good and the structure as well.
