You write with an edge, i love it! You state facts plainly but there soo not boring. There are a few words missing here and there but it reads beautifully.
Whenever i read something the authors "voice" has to flow and be interesting if that makes sense and your voice was honest, edgy and original. Thanks so much for sharing and i cant wait to read more.
I always find it hard as i dont know what to say.....but when i see how many ppl have viewed my work and how many reviewed it, i always have to say something no matter how small it is.
What a powerful short story! I,m a bit slow lol and didnt get it at first, so reread it. Very good descriptions and emotions. The last paragraph needs to be looked at, it makes sense but i think you have missed a few words...
'More soldiers appeared in giant iron frame of the door. She noticed they had a red cross on thier sleeves and she knew what that meant. A much better thing than what her family were forced to wear on their sleeves.'
I think you meant More soldiers appeared in front of the giant iron door?
Apart from that though brilliant story. I think it really captures the emotion of a person in that situation. Thankyou :)
Thankyou so much for this article. I find it harder to review than i do write. I know how important reviewing someones work is as i know with my own works im always checking to see if any one has left a comment. As a writer i WANT other peoples point of view on my piece, to hear what works and what dosent.
