I wrote this in high school about a foreign exchange student I had a crush on once he left
This year has been a blur to me -
Of rapture and insanity,
From Triumph to Calamity,
I've finally worked it through.

And with the summer season's dawn,
Life is changing, life goes on,
And, my friend, though you are gone,
I'll still remember you.
