Overall this was an enjoyable read. There was a great amount of foreshadowing for such a short piece. I could not be sure, but Jim's extreme concern for the murdered woman seemed to hint that there might have been something going on between the two of them. Is this the case? And if so, is this why the character murdered her?

I liked the back and forth format with both the cause and effect being portrayed linear. I imagine it would not work on a longer piece but again, this was a good length for the format and material used. Good work.
