** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** This is a wonderful sentiment. The things that were said here are so true. I know in my own life I have encountered many tijes when I wanted to give up. The only typo I saw was the third line from the bottom. The word life should not be there. I really enjoyed reading this. Thank you for offering it.

Wow! This essay really made me think of my relationship with my mother. Like you, my relationship with my mother was not a sunny one. I tried to be the "good daughter" and mind my p's and q's. My mother told me many lies. Whether she did this to protect me or because she thought I could not handle the truth is still in question. The opportunity to talk has not presented itself yet and may never be. I have many challenges in my life and have a 6 year old son. I am trying my best to teach him the calues I was never taught. God dealt me a certain hand and I am playig the cards one by one. Great Job and Congrats on the win!

Review of A Day in the Life
Rated: E | (4.0)
I liked this story even though I am not a fan of fantasy. There were a few mistakes I found. FSSSSHHHH!!! The flames burst from Fioren's mouth - and missed. She cursed herself in dragontongue. Focus, Fioren, you know what's at stake. The last part of this needs quotation marks. This is a very intereesting short story. I did enjoy reading it. I look forward to reading future pieces from you. Write On!

d enough for me. I must admit that I'm not a sci-fi or horror fan. That was my ex-husband. One of these days, if I get a chance, I will check out your webpage. Like your husband, I am also an avid dog lover. We have a black/white cocker spaniel. She will be seven on Friday. That is where I get my username from.Great to meet you. Write ON!

Review of Tender Touch

This is a beautiful poem. As I was reading it, I was reminded about when my son, who is now six, was a baby. I loved reading this. I did not see any typoes or other mistakes. What I liked about the poem was the way you described what a mother does. Babies are so dependant on their mothers. It is too bad that all mothers cannot be that way. Great Write.

This is a beautiful poem that is a tribute to your mother. I did not see any typoes or other mistakes. Congradulations on the publication of your first book. Your mother has lived a life that has seen many changes. What did she like better? Modernization or the old fashioned way to do things? I really liked this poem. Did he get her picture on the Today Show for hitting that magic number? Write On!

This is a very informative article. As I read it, it reminded me that I have to make time for myself. I am the mother of one son, age six. He wants time with me continuously. I do not have diapers to change anymore, thankfully. But I do have to ssee what he gets into. I have had several medical issues that have kept me seperated from my family. We live in a two story apartment and I spend most of my time upstairs. Thank you for the tips and Write On!

Review of Book or Movie?
Rated: E | (4.5)
I really liked this poll. I like to watch the movie first, then read the book. Especially with the Danielle Steele collection. I have not read any of her novels yet, but I have seen most of the movies. There have been some movies that I know are great and I wonder if there is a book that was written about the story first. Sometimes, it is shown that there was a book, but most times there is not. Great Poll. Write On!

I really liked this story. It was told in a very sarcastic manner. The one thing I can tell you is that you can change your name when you are sixteen. When you are eighteen, you can do whatever you want. This family sounds a lot like my immediate family. It is getting harder and harder to be around them. Unfortunately, we will be around them on Easter. Great story. Write On!

Review of Indecision
Rated: E | (3.5)
This poem is confusing. Your use iof tenses is making the poem mix up. First, you use second person, then you switch to third person, then back to second. I think you need to pick a tense and stay with that one. I did not see any typoes or other grammatical errors. I know what it is like to be indecisive in your life's path. Write On!

Review of Last Walk
Rated: 18+ | (3.5)
This poem left me confused. Was the main character about to have an abortion? Was the main character about to be put to death for a crime she was found guilty for? As I read this, I pictured a woman or girl walking down a dirt road, never to return. I did not see any typoes or ther mistakes. This poem was written well, but it needed to be clarified more. Wrie On!

Thanks for entering my contest. I really liked your poem, however, it was not submitted in bitem format. When I read the poem, I could feel the aches and pains and the lonliness it spoke of. Ther were not any typoes or other mistakes. The last stanza, second line: Shouldn't that be write? Write On!

This story is very cryptic and excellently written. It reminded me of a part in the movie Ghost when the guy first dies. I really loved the imagery of this story. I can see why it was given an awardicon. There weren't any typoes or other mistakes. My overall impression of the piece is that it it is scarey, yet makes the reader think about his or her mortality. Great Write.

This story made me cry. My son, who is six, is in school at the moment and all I want to do is hug him. This story really hit a nerve with me. Kate's life was like mine. My mother, like hers, was more interested in how I looked and HER reputation.I HATE parents like that. I hope I do not end up that way. I know this is just a story, but things like this really do happen. Take it from me. I am living proof of it. The imagery was fantastic and very beiieveable. Thanks for the wake up call. Write ON!

This is a very interesting poll question. In this day and age, you would think tht more people would be more cautious. By your survey results, it looks as if people think they are safe. Have meeting sessions such as the WDC convention are a safe way to meet new people. I guess it is just me. I am very wary and cautious. Write On!

This story was very compelling. I liked the way the two marriages were compared,as well as, the two births. I did not see any typoes or other mistakes. This reminded me of when my son was born. That was six years ago. I guess one thing that could have been brought out was the relationship between Heather and her father. Also, how does she really feel about her new brother? Great Story. Write ON!

This story was somewhat long, but I liked it just the same. It reminded me of a movvie I had seen years ago. Its title escapes me but the circle of time would just keep revolvimg. I did not see any typoes or other mistakes. Melissa sounds like a real prize. She reminds me of a girl that my ex-brother-in-law got pregnant twice and never married. She was a lazy person also. Rick does not make the best friend's list either. He seems like a person with not only no character, but no ambition. Great read. Write ON!

This story is very heart wrenching. As I write this review, I am crying because of my best friend who went through the same situation. She and her daughter have reconnected, but unfortunately, it did not turn out as pleaseant as this story. I have a six year old son and the thought of not being able to hold him when he was a baby stabs my heart. Great read. Write On!

This poem is very pregnant with imagination. Although I am not a fan of fantasy and pirates, I liked the excerpts that mentioned it. What I was expecting was a poem about long lost letters found by a family member from his grandmother who has since passed on. I was both pleaseantly and awkwardly surprised at the result. This is well written. However, Ther were places where it seemed stuck. The fifth stanza seemed out of sorts for me. Otherwise it was a good story. Write On!

Review of The Promise
Rated: 13+ | (4.5)
This story was very moving and really tugged at my heart. When the story began, to me, it sounded like a story of a father who lost his job and was trying to find another. Once it reached the point of the train, I knew where it was going. I was not born during that time, but I do remember reading and writing about it during my days of elementary and secondary school. The concentration camps and their horrors made me physically ill. My heart went out to all who suffered their atrosities. Very Well Written.

Review of Steve's daughter
Rated: 13+ | (4.5)
I just read this entry for Writers Cramp. It reminded me of a crime story aka James Bond, When I first started reading it, I thought it was about a father who had not seen his daughter in many years and wanted desperately to reconnect with her. As the story progresses, it is evident that he has her number in more ways than one. Great story. It should be expanded. Write ON!

Review of Love Letters
Rated: E | (4.5)
This is a beautiful poem. It made me cry as I read it. My mother is still living and our relationship is strained at best. If there was a way to mend fences then I would. I doi not see a way. Also as I read the poem, it transported me back to my grandmother's home and sitting in her bedroom reading things she kept and trying to go through them after she passed. Is this a true story? Congradulations on the win in Stormy's contest. Write On!

Review of All I Wanted
Rated: ASR | (4.5)
As I read this poem, I was transported back over thirty years. I had an encounter with a guy who was at least 25 years my senior. He misconstrued our friendship and tried to do some things. It was difficult to be around him, to say the least. He is now deceased so it's behind me. I am sorry for your pain. Write On!

I like it. You will have to start writing some stories. Welcome to the site. You will find many friends here. This will probably be your first review. There are many kids' stories here to read. You could use them for your reading assignments for school.
