nice story.. good plot, would be really easy to elaborate on and develop a little bit further. also, the usage of apostrophes in some places are incorrect - apostrophes are only used when indicating posession or a contraction (joining of 2 words in to 1). The last thing, you switch a bit from past tense to present tense during the course of the story. she was surprised.. she contemplated.. then it goes to present tense after about the 1st paragraph. otherwise, great short story!
