Even though this was a very short short story, you still really managed to convey emotion well! It really added to the drama that we didn't know what he was being injected with or why. It was a really great piece.

This is really cool! I'm in high school and I still fear what's under the bed! I don't think that anyone really grows out of being afraid of what they don't know. Sometimes you just have to look under the bed in order to sleep soundly.

I really loved the tragic tone to the poem. I thought the lines "It stood strong against mistrust/But it finally fell limp with your brutality" were beautiful. However, I feel that it could have used more punctuation.
