funny things bout roads..i wrote on roads in the past.. about how they are one in which you can travel alone or with a person. how there are many options one can travel. I like the concept of the piece in regards to making the best of road one can travel. great work

I must say when I read this poem it took me back. my dad did not serve in the military but was a cook on a navel ship. I am the war vet and I served in Iraq. my dad died in the middle of my tour. I am heartbroken. I must ask you, why are you visiting him online versus in person. wouldn't the feeling be more indepth

wow this is such a deep topic. morality issue most definatly. my lawd. I made that mistake and I assure you, other people is not whom one must answer to: its that inner self that unborn baby in the next life. Am i for abortion or not: I rather leave that open but I will say that its a horrible mistake I will never make again. i was young and naive and I didnt know my self worth. I dont know what could have been. Its very precious: LIFE is what Im speaking of. I dealt with alot of pyschological issues over the years, didnt forgive myself and I felt that GOD did not forgive me so i had to reevuate myself and let go. even though it was the worse mistake I ever made I had to accept it and make sure that mistake will never be made.

You are not the individual you are now connected to your new life which consist of your husband. brillant.
so deep. i too have my solitude moment in which others may not understand my issues in life. We live in this big society so why should we live alone with out interaction or communication with the next person. Sometimes solitude could be a good thing because it allows you to grow. but over all i love this piece.

Hello battle
First and foremost, I am a veteran. I have been to war. I served in IRAQ. I want you to know that you really did capture the moment that most of us soldiers have lived through. At times, there is no time to think but JUST do(action). i PRAY THAT people now and then took their training seriously because on that battle field its real. I have PTSD and Its such a hurdle. I did write a poem dedicated to veterans. Great Job Battle
