I love this. Thank you for sharing this innermost moment with all of us.

Just in case someone hasn't told you already, in case the "wake" part wasn't just a wondering of the girl in the story, it is called a "wake" because it is the remembering of a life that touched you all. Like the wake left behind by a boat as it goes by in the water, a wake for a person who has passed is a place and time for all whose lives were touched by that person to share their memories of them. *Heart* *Smile*

You share some beautiful feelings here...
a glimpse into the mind of a boy encountering love for the first time.
I would like to see if you could also expand on this one, and what did she say/do/answer/feel? Was she accepting of your love? Did she reject you or accept you?
