Tho this isin't my ussual style of poem I thought it was still very well done..my mom walks the path of the amarican indian and very much prays to the Great spirit! This is a religious spiritual poem..I see no reason it should not be shared with all!

I can really relate to this piece. I was that kid waiting for my dad. problem was in the end I got my wish and ended up with my dad. some wishes should go unaswered. As a father my self I could never put my own kids thru that kind of pain. I remember it too well... this piece flowed well and rolled off the toung smothly. thanks so much for sharing it!
In this first attempt you did rather nicely. good meter and ryme. and the flow stayed true. Some of my earliest stuff did not fare half as well as this one did! You will find as you grow in this your subject matters will do quite a bit of ranging. In this as all else, follow your heart, It knows what your soul needs to express. ( a favorite line of mine sorry )

Very original, It sounds like your noodle was short on names or prehaps you were ready to pasta out, but I dough think it was a wonderful tale. It was floured well with great word structure! and rolled out true. A yeasty feast for one and all! lol
