Review of My Cat

I love cats. And I'm learning to love poetry. I wish I could offer more in the way of a review, but I'm not sure yet how to judge poetry, other than to say if I like it or not. I like this poem but that may be because I love cats.

My favorite line:
"Fur sleek and black as the night she lives in..."
This line seems the most poetic.

In my opinion, the first stanza is the best. It reads the most like poetry whereas the rest of the poem reads a little more like prose.
