Just a dream written down
Yesterday is but a memory,
Tomorrow is but a dream.
Today is for living now,
You can not live on dreams.

Our memories are precious,
They make us who we are.
They are building blocks of life,
They determine how we fair.

Our dreams are our diamonds,
To be worn with joy and pride.
For those light and happy ones,
Or perhaps the dark ones we must hid.

Our lives we stumble through,
Not always checking our memories,
Not always dreaming dreams,
Not always viewing nightmares,
Not always seeing the future,
Not always seeing the past.

Yesterday is but a memory,
Tomorrow is but a dream.
Today is for living now,
You can not live on dreams.
