Sometimes, in the end, it's a choice between the the lesser of two evils.
Endings One and Two

         1

I stand here waiting
for the world to end
when a friend came by
         and said, "What for?"
Just to see it from this
lofty view would make
me feel a little less sad,"
told my friend,
         so he waited, too.

         2

They stabbed my heart
and cut out my eyes
Tore at my brain
and smashed my hands

"What more," I asked
"can you do to me?"
They laughed and sneered
         and said,
"We shall make you cry."
