this is the only poem ive ever written that rhymes without editing. enjoy.
A foreign wind,
A strange place,
It seems as if,
It's an abandoned base.

A windswept suburb,
A barren plain,
I wonder if,
There is someone to blame.

Why is there all this waste?
Why is there all this pain?
Why do we,
Act as if this is a game?

A silent crowd,
An empty stage,
It seems as if,
They're in a cage.

An empty street,
A deserted shop,
It also shows,
A withering crop.

Why is there no one here?
Why are we all alone?
Why do we feel that,
We are worked to the bone?

A blank board,
A dusty classroom,
It seems as if,
They've met their doom.

A chatterless cafeteria,
A lifeless playground,
I wonder if,
It ever had sound.

Why does this seem so empty?
Why does this seem so bland?
Why do i think this is,
A sad land?
