One Regret

 
 
Stars beyond reach,
Fathomless pain.
Recesses of the heart,
A chasm of shame.
 
Forget the lights,
That no longer shine,
As they are not needed,
For I choose to not see.
 
Break my soul,
Crush my heart,
But give me Time,
Let me go back.
 
So I may use,
My fold and blade,
To give to you,
What I can never again.
 
Should the stars fall then,
I will stay content,
For I will have given you back,
Perfection as an everlasting dream.
 
Without my regret.
