emotions are bottled up
It has been so long since I shared
I have forgotten all I dared
So long my fingers can't type
So long my mind can't write

It has been a while since I spoke
My "friends" no longer poke
So long my mouth won't approve
So long my tongue won't move

It has been forever since I told
The truth within that I hold
So long my feelings subside
So long I lost all but pride

I am desperate for so much more
But I know not what is in store
So long to this life that I hate
So long to my hoped for fate
