Its autobiographical. Its about the transition of leaving home. Nuff sed

So many new faces
So many new places
News pubs New encounters,
New clubs and new bouncers
So much change, the whole world turned on its head
Not going back to the same bed
Mixture of anxiety and dread
Starting from scratch as if fresh from the earth
Feel wet behind the ears from birth
Miss everyone dearly
Only now can I see it all clearly
It won’t ever be the same
But the relationships haven’t changed
They just a bit more distanced
It will return to normal in an instance
Like the gradual realisation when I wake up
Not at home any longer
If it doesn’t kill me, it only makes me stronger
Wish I could return back to my family
And we could all live happily
Though someone is trying to battle me,
Grapple me and tackle me
My ambition and desire keeps me strong
In the grand scheme 3 years isn’t very long

Trying to find a new lease of life
Not a time to settle but I wish I had a wife
A companion to hold me in the darkness
All I have is my sleep as a harness
A refuge of my dreams of back home
The ideal like a dog with juicy bone
A King with a throne
Don’t know whether to laugh or cry
But I do know why
Will find my feet soon
For now I’ll just reminisce the times of past while in my room
Everything so different, not bad but strange
All we can do is hold on in this time of change
Miss you like the desert misses the rain
But I’ve got to overcome this pain
Because after every storm there is sunshine
We’ll be together forever in this heart of mine
