There were high levels of Carbon Monoxide gas in the room, nervousness ensued.
The Englishroom mine canary,
I watch the door in fear.
I try to slow my breathing.
The door is shut,
The clock ticks on.

The other students laughing,
They are probably killing themselves.
I'm starting to hold my breath.
The door is shut,
The clock ticks on.

I'm getting sort of dizzy now,
I'd better take a good, deep breath.
I'm probably overreacting.
The door is shut,
The clock ticks on.
