Short poem
EQUANIMITY

A misanthrope,
I lack the hope
Most others can rely on.
I do admit
I have the wit,
Forbearance for the benefit
Of getting through my time in space
If I ignore the human race.
If I maintain
Without acclaim
This juxtaposed ability,
I know that I can coexist
With universal imbecility.
