This poem shows that sometimes our tempers get the best of us...
Hate flows through these veins
mixed up with all this pain
when I look into the mirror
all I can see
is this gruesome animal
looking back at me

Anxious to expose itself
I fight to keep it hidden within
in my mind
is where this malicious animal resides
this beast lashes out inside
one false move
and I'm afraid it's loose

Finally this animal takes me over
going for the first person
that comes to mind
then I find myself
tearing away at the person
who caused all the pain
unable to control
this animal inside me
only able to watch
this beast's desolation

Feeding off of peoples pain
depriving them of their souls
desecrating them inside
till nothing remains
finally this animal returns
to it's depths deep within

Hate flows through these veins
mixed up with all this pain
when I look into the mirror
all I can see
is this gruesome animal
looking back at me

Anxious to expose itself
I fight to keep it hidden within
in my mind
is where this malicious animal resides
this beast lashes out inside
one false move
and I'm afraid it's loose...
