A rather old poem about breaking up. Sweet and sour.
A solitary bell rings in the distance,
is it a warning or a sign?
While in the hall you fake a feast,
the echo dies as you sip your wine.

Out on the balcony I glimpse the horizon,
now that you don't obstruct my view.
You arrange your chair and light a candle,
but still you can't avoid the blue.

I climb down the ivy towards my freedom,
my path is uphill and hard to follow.
The new food you chose they serve to you,
you can chew forever but you'll never swallow.
