Something I wrote up after Forest said she couldnt wait to review something of mine
Born in the wild I surpassed the rest,
My mind grew wings and my soul was blessed.
I hid from the sun in the cool desert shade.
My child cried out to me I gave him a name.
Those other creatures who shared my earth,
I killed, them hunted them and put them to work
I burned plants and stirred the dirt,
In my craving for new and unyielding mirth.
With each accomplishment came more glory,
each day, year, and eon a page in my story.
And what do I get for all my pains?
All my past and future gains.
No immortal stability or perfect real tranquility.
No sanguine life or happy home,
No, No I have not these, my mind grew wings and now I roam.
