Regret sits as a child on my lap
Ideas unbounded, dance on a great open stage in the prominence of my beautiful mind.
Desire draws my attention with his beautiful plumage as no other wild beast could.
My desire is his opportunity.
Admiration blinds me with his shinning gold laurels and his perfect smile.
My admiration is his nourishment
Anger runs around me chewing and clawing at the other dancers.
My anger is his pain
Regret sits as a child on my lap and does not join the dance. He looks at me with eyes filled with blame and accusation. "I'm sorry child I never meant to be so selfish."
My regret is my own.
The other dancers have left.
