This is a poem for the love of my life
I now lay my heart in your hands
In hopes one day you'll see
You've found all you've searched for
And needed inside of me.
I give you this heart
That is fragile yet strong
I give you an unconditional love
That will never steer you wrong.
I'll take care of you always
Build for you a happy life and home
Always stay by your side
Never leave you all alone.
I'll treat your heart with kindness
Show you a compassion that's unending
And if we're ever forced to be apart
Over the miles all my love I'll be sending.
Know I'm in this for the long run
If possible, I'll never go away
For I believe you are my soulmate
And I'll love you until my dying day.
