another stab at poetry- about life and forgetting
I don't know when it happened
but at some point
living
became
impossible.

Thinking to breathe,
what a ridiculous concept
but I wrote it on the backs of my hands
where I write all of the things I am
liable
to
forget.

Buy milk
Clean the kitchen
Doctor's appointment at 4
Do homework
Breathe in
Breathe out
BREATHE

I don't know when it happened
but at some point
it became
difficult
to
remember.

Breathe.
Eat.
Sleep.
Did I today?
(Sometimes it is difficult to say.)
