More of the same.
I watch
Still and silent
Any motion any sound
And she flies like a startled bird

The stars are jealous of her
The summer sun chases the winter moon
Each wishing to illuminate her

I've seen her face a thousand times
Never more beautiful than Blue in the street light
Her eyes shining, magnetic

She is aloft above my wearied head
not mine to touch or kiss
my words trapped between throat and lips

I'm a prisoner, lost
the world mocks me with her presence
If I could only reach and touch her

In a dream all is perfect
My hands trace her curves
My lips, hers
I know her from beginning to end

In this life all is dark
my eyes watch
my heart breaks
She is living her own dream
the nightmare belongs to me
