Just pumping them out now for grins and giggles.
She said her name was common
Unremarkable and forgetable
The name of one and a 1,000 more

I try to guess it inside my head
Letters rearrange and stand abreast
Present themselves, bow and wink

Her name may well be Helen
The girl I'd launch my 1,000 longings for
Each burning the topless towers of her suitors

It could be Estella, my star
So as Pirrip was alone among the gravestones
I spend my days begging the heavens to lower

Perhaps her name is Anna
Breaking horse's back and musket to chest
To end the pain of a love forbidden

Her name is offered and presented
My ears drink it greedily
Taking each letter down for memory

How could this name be common
When attached to her face and heart
This unforgettable, wholy remarkable
Timeless, endless beauty before me.
