A school paper I enjoyed writting. It is not what I feel but what other people feel.
How one may live so freely will
send others to a state of tragedy.

Caged...

Alone...

Watching...

Flying...

A single tear from every fallen child
trapped in a room, creates a river

for those who dream of being freed.
Those free from the darkness play together

and alone I stand, ready to be judged.

The sun shines as bright as many spirits
throught their doors, but those spirits of mine

do not shine back. As we look to those so free
of entrapment they smile back and wave

but leave us here alone. So cold are those
left behind to freeze in the darkness

knocking at their door.

'Come Back!'

We yell

'Leave us not to cry an ocean of our dreams!'

But those free never came back for us
trapped behind that big oak door.

Now as we die on a river
of our hopes, we will sing

our final goodbyes.

'Goodbye to those who play
leaving us you might be,

but now we are free.
For we dream not of the playground

nor the door;
but of those who will be freed tomarrow!'
