My version of "Jabberwocky", with maybe just a hint of Stanley Unwin mixed in.
Jabberworky

'Twas roomove and the student droves
Did haudle and heave the loadbooks in
All flagwhacked were the auntycoves
And the newdents quite done in.

"Beware the Jabberwork, my son,
So much and much it piles on you.
Beware the lecture hall and shun
The list of things-to-do."

He took his leaksome pen in hand
Long time the answer-notes he sought
So turned his face to the drink-up place
And sat a while in thought.

And while in fuséd thought he sat
The Jabberwork, with eyes of flame,
Came tearing through his sharoomed flat
And examed as it came.

2:1, 2:1, exams are done
The leaksome pen went spitter-spatt
Now capped and gowned, he's homeward bound
He'd passed, and that was that.

"And hast thou slain the Jabberwork?
Come to my arms, BA, my boy!
Oh graduous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

'Twas roomove and the student droves
Did haudle and heave the loadbooks in
All flagwhacked were the auntycoves
And the newdents quite done in.
