For Maribel...my best friend, soulmate, and soon to be wife.
I fell asleep the other night,
Another day had passed by in my ordinary life,
Several hours had transpired,
When suddenly everything I had desired appeared to my delight,
A lovely woman I had never seen walked into my life,
-Are you real, or are you just a dream?
I've long asked God for you, but you were mere fantasy,
I had lost all hope in finding true love,
I had resigned myself to the fact that for me it was not meant to be,
-Are you real, or are you just a dream?
That gleam in her eye, that spirit so full of life,
Inner beauty like I had never seen,
-Are you real, or are you just a dream?
I fell hard and fast, for you captured my heart,
I feel you so close to me, although we're miles apart,
-Are you real, or are you just a dream?
My soul has found it's match, it no longer searches aimlessly,
I long to be with you, but wait,
-Are you real, or are you just a dream?
I now see past tomorrow, my life now seems so clear,
-I know you are real, you're not just a dream!
