Adventurers travels from a characters eyes. Homage to Edgar Allen Poe's the Raven
Flight of the Innocent:

Hollow heroes fill the halls
One by one the heroes fall
Out of the darkness a creature comes
Filled with fear I try to run

Fleeing the site of ill repute
Leaving their bodies destitute
Running into the distant moon
I fear my time may come too soon

Roaring it appears in my sight
Creeping towards me ready to fight
I then stumble as I try to flee
And for a moment I am free

I run towards the mountains ridge
To the end of the broken bridge
So one more time I’ll try to soar
Breathing air nevermore.
