God's Dream

What is my dream or did I forget?

Am I living it or living with regret?

I was afraid to begin, I didn't know where to start.

So I began by looking deep within my heart.

I had a vision where I sat with God above,

And I asked him, "Could I ever do what I love?"

He asked, "What is your dream, child of mine?"

I told him and he said with a smile, "It's your time to shine!"

Curious about his dream, I asked him but by now his voice

sounded very far.

"You are my dream," he said. "You are."
