personification
A transparent pane of glass
reflects in the day’s first light
my table laden with glistening strawberry tarts
luscious lemon cakes and glorious macaroons to beguile you,
I am a temptress, and I will seduce all who pass by.
Come in, come in, come in the door
where the warm sweet yeasty smells
will surround you and draw you closer.
Anything you want, I have here behind the glass.
Come in, come in.

I long to show you these delights.
I yearn to give you pleasure.
Come in, come in, I have cookies for your pockets.
I am the bakeshop window.
