This is a poem inspired by my favourite song "Learning to Fly" by Pink Floyd

Green Iris, Black Holes
Widen in awe.
Purple clouds, Blue rain
I long to soar.
Touch sky, feel air
My wings unfold,
Like bird, Like Plane,
Break Earth's hold.

Reality is grounding,
Imagination sets me free,
The need to be airborne,
That's a part of me.

Melt my wingspan,
In the heat of the sun,
In the void between man and God,
The sky and I are one.

Need to leave my imprint in the sky.
Make a mark in the atmosphere,
Need to learn to fly.
