Writer's Cramp: "when it rained _____"
When it rained she felt right
The chaos of the normal world
Drifted away with the sun
No longer beating down
Upon her weak soul

When it rained the voices stopped
Able to think for herself
Rare moments of silence
The only sound was the rain
Dancing lightly on the ground

When it rained all was the color of gray
Not having to decide
Between what was right and wrong
Whether it was black or white
A peaceful medium could be reached

When it rained she finally rested
Momentarily able to relax
Away from the orders and harassment
That comes from everyone talking
All at once, all the time

If only it would rain forever
Then she could finally find
Eternal peace from them
If only she didn’t have to make that decision
Wanting only for it all to end
Not having much of a choice
Wanting for a life of rain
If only she didn’t have to use the gun
If only…

When it rained, it rained tears
