When you fly so high you see rivers run dry
She dreams of times, she flies so high
Caught on the wind, where the clouds wing by
Where the birds once flew, they soar no more
She breaths the air, she feels no more
No more grass to live, on which to lie
As winding rivers, their waters run dry
Silver strands meld concrete streams
The forest falls into our dreams

How foolish can we truly be?
To think that we are truly free
Under the clouds of silent deceit
We scarcely move from our feet
We turn our back, our own delight
We turn and run, to lose the fight

Her gentle eyes, weep tears of regret
I hope like her, lest we forget
We see through fog, the concrete sea
And maybe one day we shall be free
