When love is lost...
Dear Mr. Cockroach, I have a question
My name is love and I’m facing a recession

My stocks have plummeted and sold at the lowest cost
On street corners ever where and all around the world
No one seems to care anymore.
I think I’m lost

So please tell me if you would Mr. Roach
About facing this problem and how it should be approached

Sure I am merely an emotion that controls the heart
And you are a creature that resides in the places people aren't

You harvest in darkness and filth
And I am struggling to find light still
Searching for the will to survive
And in that respect sir, we are the same
You and I

Tell me then, the way you live and move
Like student and teacher, make me like you

I need to learn how, to live through mass extinctions
Help me please if you have the inclination

Of what is your armor made, I have to know
If it is of dragon scale then lizard hunting I will go

Nuclear weapons, humans, as well as asteroids
Tell me Mr. Cockroach, how these things you avoid.

The same fate as I
has the waning crescent
To fade away in the night
Leaving no remnant

Please Save me, Mr. Cockroach from this regrettable fate
We can save the world of love and end that of hate.
