This poem describes a mothers loss
He filled his life with drugs and booze,

It's so sad to tell the truth,

He couldn't see that the days were ending fast,

He didn't even give himself a second chance.

He didn't have much by way of material things,

But what he did have,

A Momma who loved him and now she's sad,

I can see the tears running down her cheek,

God stand by her while she grieves.

It's been five years since he passed,

The hurt still there imagine that,

But the memories have not faded away,

It's a shame, caused a lot of pain,

God be with you always.

He filled his life with drugs and booze,

It's so sad and it's the truth,

Momma lives on, now Momma lives on,

Momma lives on, without her, first born son.
