domestic violence gone too far
He walks out the door, In his new black suit,
She has kissed him goodbye at the same door.
The neighbours think he is the perfect man,
She is glad today, to see him no more.
She sits at home with her fingers drumming,
All alone she waits in her new kitchen.
If you listen you can hear her humming,
She wonders why she has married him.
But just like clockwork he enters again,
She dodges a punch as she smells the gin.
And all she can think is how are the children,
Tears roll down her cheeks, as a knife is forced in.

Dragged through the garden, left there to die,
Children are beaten as she breathes her last sigh.
