Reflection on my tendencies towards dysfunctional relationships.
Lie To Me

Tell me that I’m beautiful
you don’t have to mean it
I have loved enough lies in the past
what’s one more
black mark
on an all ready charcoal record?

Tell me that you love me
you don’t have to feel it
I’ve fucked enough illusions in the past
what’s one more
red stain
on my bloody scarlet sheets?

Tell me I can trust you
tell me that you’ll never leave
tell me how perfect you don’t think I am
rape me
suck the life out of me until I’m dry
and then abandon me when I need you most

It’s happened enough times before.
Why should you be any different?
Make me feel wanted for five minutes
before you take what you want and leave me here
just like everybody else
lie to me
on some sick level I think I like it.
