A letter of poetry that I wrote to describe how my daughter felt for her lost dad.
Why are you not here ?

Didn't you love me ?

Wasn't I enough to make you change.

When I raise my arms for a hug,

there is nothing, only air.

When I cry, you are not here to

soothe my woes,

and tell me everything will be alright.

Did the thought of me chase you away ?

When I should of been enough to stay.
