Feeling like you can't be yourself.

The mask you wear,
so shiny, bright and new.
Reflecting beautiful colors
that are not you.

Emotion deep inside,
buried behind this wall.
A false happiness and joy.
Smile for the ones that walk by.

You know that they'll not ask why.
They had never seen you cry.
The colors you reflect
are a filtered few.

So hidden you will stay,
till you find yourself a new,
Let your colors show through.
