Ah, blessed love.
I saw myself, from across the room, in your eyes.
Did you see also, that within my eyes, was you?

We walked towards each other...  ourselves-
until my hand was in yours, and I said, without words:
"Let's leave this place, these 'others'...  alone."

How angelically, as one, we floated towards the door.
We passed the threshold.  The sunshine was warm:
It flowed upon us, as we glowed in return.

The world was transformed, as we walked through our garden.
We were alone, and in bliss!  In love, I first tasted your kiss.

Our clothing was gone.-  It must have just flown away...
So then our outside, as our inside, was the same way.

We were lying in the grass, near the stream's gentle song-
While warmly, we melted closely, so timelessly along.

If this was a dream, we dared not to wake-
So we asked God, for our souls, to take.

God answered:  "Dear children, your request won't be done."
"When you surrender to Me, I must take you as ONE!"
