a relationship fused by eros and alcohol
A girl
Awoken
Shaken to her core
When Serendipity
Cautiously
Stole through her door
He rose a forgotten
Gentlemanly greeting
Time smiled relief
At this fateful morn meeting
Of two so akin
Paired in truth
Steeped in clouds
From disturbed youth

With Eros omnipotent
In the twilight hour
Twins reborn
Her heart devoured
Unfurling
Trusting
His soul so pure
Till shadowed by influence
His fist
Uncurled
To reveal an infected
State of insistence, that

Daemons still rule
Control his existence

The girl wept in darkness
Deeply
Alone
And fought off the Daemons
Of her own nightly sorrow
Serendipity groaned in restless sleep
Unconscious agreement to untimely defeat
Time gasped loudly, taut
Forlorn
Grasping at night
Delaying the dawn

A girl
Awoken
Disappointment core
As Serendipity
Carefully
Stole past her door
Motions betraying
The gentlemanly greeting
Time, heavy, in this
Brief morn, fleeting
As two so akin to tear up the world
Recoiled, defensive, on separate paths
And loudly, loudly
His Daemons laughed
