A poem about having deeper feelings than you can or wish to make known.
I love her eyes,
clear blue and beautiful
as the tropical sea,
but she doesn't know it --
I haven't told her.
Looking upon her beauty,
I am absent from all other thought.
As I behold the smoothness,
the splendor of her exposed neck,
I am made weak.
Her legs are as finely-sculpted work,
a curvaceous form that holds my gaze like a spell.
I am frozen by her captivating scent,
within its reach I cannot escape.
Her smile subdues my soul,
producing a warmth that overshadows my pain.
Her essence plunges the unknown depths of my heart,
but she doesn't know it ...
I haven't told her.
